Position Summary
This position is responsible for the revenue and profitability at large, diverse and complex customer(s) that are strategic and vital to the health of the organization. Will utilize extensive sales and engineering experience to lead and develop business planning at the major accounts.

Position Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute annual business plan to increase revenue and profitability
-Responsible for all customer relationships at assigned key accounts - selling across multiple functions at customer to ensure account growth and profitability
-Work closely with applications engineering to provide required engineering support for current products and research & development of future products and programs at key account
-Coordinate with New Business Conversion team to provide accurate and timely quotations to customers.
-Act as a liaison between company manufacturing operations and customer locations in support of world class delivery and quality.
-Manage and work with Finance on DSO and scrap recovery with customer and be point person for payment and resolution
-Proficient use of sales tools and activities - maintain weekly calendar, timely submittal of expenses, key account plans maintenance and required use CRM tool, PMP management, etc.
-Collect market and competitor information to assist Sales management and Marketing in strategic planning for the purpose of targeting markets, platforms, specific applications, etc. for growth

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10 plus years technical experience with assigned key account or other major tier/fastener supplier.
-Must have account management experience working with large Japanese automakers such as Nissan, Honda, Toyota.
-5 or more years of sales and/or marketing experience with national or international account management experience.
-Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional/trade publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
-Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work across functional groups
-Perceived as "team player"

-Fluent in Japanese language
-Advanced degree -Mechanical knowledge and experience in the fastener industry
Travel Requirements; 25-50%
